Even More of Bella's 3rd Birthday

Finally - the pictures of her opening her "prizes" as she calls them! She got so many nice things - she is a very lucky little girl!

After opening all her "prizes", she went around and gave everyone a hug and told them thank you for her gifts.

The party lasted about an hour and half and by the time everything was cleaned up, deflated, taken down, and put back in the house - it was supper time. Bella was asleep by 5:30 that night and did not even eat supper! She had a great birthday and we appreciate everyone who came to celebrate with us!

The kids playing at the party...

The party was outside (I've already been told next year we will have it somewhere air conditioned - haha)! The kids love being outside! We had a croquet set, a "jumpy" thing, numerous outside toys and of course the new swing set! The kids seemed to have a good time (not one of the kids came over to watch or help Bella open her gifts, if that tells you anything)!

Snacktime at the Party

We did not have much as far as food goes - just some chips and dip, pretzels, black-eyed pea salsa and drinks! Here are a few pics of the kids having some juice and snacks!

This is Bella, Brooklyn and Kameron!
Brooklyn!

Bella - the Birthday Girl!
Here they are having a piece of cake! As soon as everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and Bella blew out her candles - she ran over to the kids table and sat down waiting for her cake!!

Bella, Brooklyn and Paxton

Just a cute picture of the girls with their cousin Paxton!! (Brooklyn looks a bit dazed - but she'd gotten bit by a bug and we'd given her benedryl because she reacts to everything - notice how red her face is....).

The Cake

Last year for Bella's birthday - I made cupcakes and decorated them with different colored icing to make a bouquet of balloons and a catepillar. This year I asked Bella if she wanted cupcakes or a big cake - and she wanted a "b-i-i-i-i-g" pink cake! So on Friday after my doctor's appointment we went to Michael's to let her pick out the cake she wanted me to make! I took out all the girlie cake pans and laid them out on the floor and let her pick. She picked the Ariel (Little Mermaid) one but then decided on the Castle cake (or 'tastle' cake as it sounds when she says it). I will say I was a bit nervous of how it would turn out - but I think it turned out just fine! She was happy with it and really just wanted to eat it!!!

STAY TUNED - MORE PICTURES TO COME!!!

More of Bella's 3rd Birthday

Here is Bella opening her gift from Brooklyn. We did not buy her much of anything - they get so much from everyone else that to me it gets overwhelming! Bella loves to write and put stickers in notebooks - so Brooklyn got her a new notebook, some new stickers and some new markers!

Here she is opening the Tinkerbell Color Wonder set she got from Mommy and Daddy.

More important than the Tinkerbell Color Wonder was the singing card!!! It sang the "Itsy Bitsy Spider"!! Both girls just love these cards! --

Bella's 3rd Birthday!

I cannot believe that Bella is now 3..where did the past 3 years go? I am going to post the pictures from her big day in several post over the next several days! Hope you enjoy!
--
I decorate their bedroom doors for the birthdays (I started this last year with Bella's 2nd birthday and will keep this as a "family tradition"!). I try to have them done before they wake up - but right now with the heat, we run a fan into Bella's room to help with the temperature, so I couldn't do it until the morning of her birthday - nonetheless, she was thrilled with it!

Here's the birthday girl!!! Have I said I cannot believe that she is 3?!?!

And here she is with Pop - because she refused to stand in front of her door without Pop (oh how these girls LOVE their Pop) - it was after the party and she was EXHAUSTED!!

Stay tuned for more of Bella's 3rd Birthday!!

A Birthday Lunch between Sisters

On Sunday, Mi-Mi went and got the girls chicken fries for lunch! Here they are at the "little table" eating Bella's birthday lunch! I do not know why my girls like to be topless and/or only in their diapers/panties....but they do!

More of Bella's Birthday

We had a(nother) birthday party at Bella's Nana and Pop's (Brannon's mom and her husband) house on Saturday, August 4th! There were three other little ones there to help celebrate - Kameron, Ryan and Kylee Anne. Kameron, Kylee Anne and Bella are all 2, within six months of each other and Ryan is three. We had smoked chicken, baked beans, corn on the cob, black-eyed pea salsa and of course more birthday cupcakes! Here are a few pictures from the party!

I covered a piece of cardboard with blue wrapping paper to make it look like the sky, then put "Happy Birthday Bella" on the bottom. I then took the cupcakes and made some into a bouquet of balloons and then also a catepillar in grass (coconut dyed green) and marshmellow clouds!

Birthday Morning

Bella had a great birthday (yes I know it was almost two weeks ago and I am just now posting...but at least I'm posting now)!!!

These are pictures from her actual birthday morning.

Here she is "discovering" her door decorations. I woke her up that morning because Brannon had to work and doesn't get home until 9 pm, so we wanted her to open her presents with all of us there. It took her a few minutes to wake up...

She got a ViewFinder and the Happy Feet, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Nemo reels that go along with it. It didn't take her long to figure out how to click through the reels as well as loading and unloading the reels all by herself!

Bella loves the camera - if I take our camera out and she sees me doing it, she runs up to me and says "cheese"! So she got a camera for her birthday - it takes pictures with real film, but she doesn't know that yet, but she likes to take pictures of herself as you can see from the picture!

Finally, she got a Bowling Set. It has 6 bowling pins and a blue bowling ball! She hasn't quite gotten the entire concept down, but she likes to play with it! She tends to throw the ball instead of rolling it towards the pins!

Of course, we had to have cupcakes on her real birthday! We waited until Daddy got home from work and then we all had cupcakes together.

YUM! YUM! This is good!

The lollipop feet are yummy too!

Oh, just one more PLEASE!?!?!?

Why not?!?!?!!?
