Brooklyn makes the local newspaper

As I mentioned in a post last week, Storytime at the Library was about Fire Safety Week, complete with a visit from the Atmore Fire Department and Sparky the Firedog! The Atmore News was also there taking notes and pictures! After the presentation and movie, Sparky posed for a picture with some of the kids (most, including Bella, wouldn't get in the picture)!

The article taken from the Wednesday, October 16, 2007 edition (Volume 3, Issue 19) of the Atmore News read as follows:

"Little ones at the Atmore Public Library Wee Ones' Story Time enjoyed a visit from the Atmore Fire Department and Sparky the Fire Dog for National Fire Safety and Education Week. Standing beside Sparky on the left is Caeden Battles, Elora Pierce and Arden Pierce. On Sparky's right side are, from front to back, Zander Crawford, Hunter Smith and Reid Pierce. Sitting on the floor are Brooklyn Parmer and Montana Carnley. Behind Sparky and the children are Ronald Peebles, Eugene Edwards and Jeremy Lee from the Atmore Fire Department."
