Fixing Mi-Mi's Hair

Build-a-Bear had these little "kits" that included a hairdryer, hair brush and mirror! Bella saw these and HAD to have one and of course, Brooklyn followed suit! After supper and getting into their pajamas - they deicded it was time to fix Mi-Mi's hair!

My mom (aka Mi-Mi) came into town this past weekend and we took the kids to Build-A-Bear. Bella decided to "build" a bunny and Brooklyn built a "lamb".

A Visit from Mi-Mi

Mi-Mi came into town for a quick visit - she came down Saturday morning and went back Sunday morning!

We headed to the outlets in Foley when she arrived. We stopped at Mellow Mushroom for pizza before hitting the shops!!

Brady meets Mi-Mi

Mi-Mi came to visit on Saturday to see the girls and, of course, to meet Brady! The girls were so excited that Mi-Mi was coming to visit! Every day I would ask them "who's coming to our house this weekend?" to which they would raise their arms and yell "MI-MI!!!"

Where Mi-Mi?

--

My mom has been here visiting since last Tuesday at around lunch time! The girls were only in "school" for 2 days for Bella and 1 day for Brooklyn (she was out on Monday due to a lovely stomach virus we all had last weekend that she didn't start with until Sunday afternoon)! My mom left around 5am this morning and she's slept in the other twin bed in Bella's room. Well - when Bella woke up she moved from Mi-Mi's bed back to her's and as I was headed to the bathroom for my shower - I noticed her back in her bed just sitting there looking quite sad and confused. I asked her what was wrong and she said "Where Mi-Mi" pointing to the bed that still had Mi-Mi's blanket on it! It just broke my heart! I told her that Mi-Mi had to go back to her house because she had to go to work tomorrow. Her response "but I want Mi-Mi"!

Today is back to reality - back to doing my own laundry, entertaining the girls while trying to keep the house in order and cooking dinner at night! All the things Mi-Mi did while she was here....

We had a great visit and I KNOW the girls had a blast getting to have Mi-Mi to themselves for almost an entire week!

A Weekend with Mi-Mi

My mom, aka Mi-Mi, came in town this weekend for a visit! Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Mi-Mi's Visit

Mi-Mi, aka my Mom, came down for a quick visit on Saturday and left this morning. Brannon and I got to go out to dinner and a movie (we went and saw I Am Legend - a good movie but very intense), while the girls stayed with Mi-Mi.

Here is a cute picture I got of Brooklyn and Mi-Mi. And here is why Bella wasn't in the picture and/or we didn't get a picture of Mi-Mi and Bella! She was telling me "no picture Momma, no picture!"
